Sit n’ Sew **Evenings~6:00-9:00, Thursday, September 23, October 21 & Dec. 16 Take this opportunity to work on past projects or continue on quilts you started in class. 	Beginner “No Hoop Red Work” Wednesday, September 1~ Evening session-6:00-8:30 or Saturday, September 18~1:00-3:30 This is a great opportunity to learn red work. I have a special technique that makes it enjoyable and easy. 	“Beginner Quilting” (Two week class Beginner, Beginner) Morning Session~10:30-1:30, Thursday, October 21 & 28, or Evening session~6:00-9:00, Tuesday, October 5 & 12 “Four Patch Partners” exclusive Candlelite pattern. Babies are the theme for this beginner class! Are you going to be a New mom, Grandma or Auntie? Have you always wanted to quilt but not sure how to get started?? This class will get you on your way to the world of quilting. Learn about quilting tools, cutting fabric using a rotary cutter & piecing blocks while making a wall hanging or baby quilt. Machine Quilting**(Beginner) Saturday, October 16~10:30-3:30 This class is a must! You will learn in the ditch, free motion, all about needles, threads and much more. 	“It’s in the Bag” (Beginner) Saturday, September 25~10:30-3:30 This class is using the “Buggy Barn” technique. No matching seams and easy cutting makes this a quick quilt even for beginners. All you need is 20 fat quarters and sashing. There are lots of patterns that you will want to venture into after working on this project! Class Fee~$45.00 + Book & Supplies Instructor: Deb Nowell
	“Whirligig” (By Quilt in a Day, 2 Week class) Morning session, Tuesday, September 14 & 21 10:30-1:00 or Evening session, Tuesday September 14 & 28,6:00-8:30 or Saturday (1 day class) October 30, 10:30-3:30. Great next class for my Beginner, Beginners!! This stunning quilt is made using 2 ½” strips! You can use a jelly roll; fat quarters or cut your own strips. Some cutting is required before class if time allows, if not, this is a 6 hour class so you can cut in class. Quilting Jams!!! ***Saturday, November 13 or December 11~2:00-11:00pm Yes, that’s right 11:00 PM!! Imagine sewing for 9 hours straight! This is a great social event to meet new quilting friends and have an evening just for you. You can also bring hand projects as well, (knitting, cross stitch or rug hooking). This class fills up quick, I think because dinner is included (no cooking!!) Class Fee~$30.00 (Includes Pizza!)
	Beginner Rug Punching **Thursday, October 7, (Morning session) 10:30-1:30 or (Evening Session) 6:00-9:00 Have you seen the beautiful rugs, chair pads, and wall hangings in the shop! Come and learn the art of rug punching. You will be making a Chair Pad designed by Cathy Ruggiero and you will be able to choose your own yarn colors. Price includes class, pattern & monks cloth. 	Quick Tumble **Thursday, September 16~Evening session 6:00-9:00 This is a super quick quilt using a large tumbler ruler! Great way to use up stash or purchase fat quarters and complete this eye catching quilt. You can cut this quilt out in no time. Don’t miss out!! Red Work Xmas ornament (Beginner) Saturday, December 4~10:30-1:30 Learn Red work while making the perfect Christmas gift. You will not stop at one! 	Cozy Couch Quilt (Beginner) Saturday, October 23, 10:30-3:30 or (2 Weeks) Tuesday, November 30 & December 7, 6:00-9:00. This is a great way to piece a quilt using strips! Strip piecing is quick and fun, but there are lots of tips to assure accuracy. You will learn it all and make a great size couch quilt. It can be made in cotton or flannel cotton. Runner of the Season** ( Experienced Beginner) Tuesday, November 9~ (Morning Session) 10:30-3:30 or (Evening Session) 6:00-9:00 This is a continued class from the book “Runner’s Ect”. Will be doing a snowman runner and kits will be available. You can pick this class up and there will still be one more in January. Runners make great gifts or spruce up your rooms at home!! 	A Quilter’s DASH** (Experienced Beginner) Tuesday, November 2~6:00-9:00 Candlelite Designs has a New pattern having fun with the traditional Churn Dash block. You can make the quilt with two fabrics or two colors!! All the units are the same just turned to create a secondary block! Some cutting is required before class. The sample is in flannel and special tips will be covered using flannel, cotton can be used. This makes a great scrappy quilt too!! Class Fee~$25.00 + pattern & supplies Instructor: Cathy Ruggiero
